Greetings Keeper of Time,
Saturn has now turned direct and is just starting to move on while making a grand Earth trine with Uranus and Mercury, together inviting us to meet the challenge of tangibly flowing with time & timing, the structured & wildly spontaneous, in thought & expression.
Today’s (Sunday’s) New Moon in Virgo joins us with the realm of practical magic. This begins the first moon cycle beyond the lengthy eclipse season! We can slowly begin to attend more fruitfully to our health, food stores, and the daily things we do in service to spirit and life.
Monday, Mars moves into Aquarius, gaining us a bit of momentum and oomph to do the innovative work we’re been yearning to put into action.
Moon waxes to a crescent, joining Venus (at its brightest) on Tues and Wed in visiting the star Spica ~the seed jewel in the hand of the goddess~ for a crowning 7th vestment. Open your crown to receive the blessing of embodying humble and dignified sovereignty bestowed by the goddess. This is likely the last visitation before Venus turns retrograde and quickly falls from the evening sky.
Thursday, Moon moves on to join Jupiter by the claw of the Scorpion (that’s Zubenelgenubi to those of you in the know). Jupiter is sextile Pluto for the third and final time (building in all week), reminding us that we’re on a transformative and expansive journey of stepping into our own power and potency with authority, in relating and meeting challenges.
Hear more of the story in my Moon 2 Podcast.
The dazzling lineup of evening sky planets continues, with:
- Venus shining bright in the west in the early evenings, near Spica
- Jupiter in the southwest close to Zubenelgenubi (the claw of the Scorpion).
- Saturn above the Teapot toward the south
- Reddish Mars is shining bright (but starting to diminish) in the southeast
