Greetings Keeper of Time,
TONIGHT, Saturday night into Sunday morning, August 12-13th, is the peak of the Perseids meteor shower. Optimal watching is well after midnight, as Perseus (the radiant) rises higher in the East. You’ll see shooting stars in all directions. Very little moonlight interferes (until moonrise around 4am). Enjoy!
Also today into tomorrow (exact around 4am PDT), retrograde Venus conjuncts Sun in Leo. This unseen tryst of Venus in fully vested presence, with radiant Sun, seeds the coming birth of a new 584-day Venus in Leo cycle, when Venus emerges as Morning Star in the East around the close of Moon 1, 8/19-22.
This coming Wednesday’s Dark Moon Leo welcomes Thursday’s emergence of Warrior, 13-days of learning embodied strength and intelligence, ripening as mature presence, and meeting with respect. In emerging newly as Morning Star, Venus arises as Love Warrior, expressing self-love and enthusiasm for playfully creative newness.
