Cosmic Update
Greetings Keeper of Time,
Here we are. This is an invitation, from Life. To be here, hearing here.
Today, Mars is with Pluto in Capricorn, even as Jupiter is approaching Pluto. There is much expansive, embodied death and renewal energy afoot!
Later this week, comes the New Moon in Aries, then Sun is with Chiron in Aries. The emergence of us as healer/teachers is asserting itself.
In times like these, listening to Life, receiving the divinations that abound, is where real guidance comes from for meeting This well.
Some years ago, I taught how to use the I Ching. My absolute favorite version is Total I Ching by Stephen Karcher (a $16 paperback). One of my long ago students did an I Ching divination for this time, which she shared with me. This feels like a divination for all of us, and she has graciously agreed to allow me to share what came and the audio of her reading some of the initial hexagram guidance. Below, I’ve quoted liberally from the Total I Ching text.

It marks a transition time in a ritual or a life, an entry into liminal space where structures dissolve and there is a a re-ordering of the fundamental principles. It is the act of standing for your ideals and stepping across the threshold, a crisis in life when you must stand by what you know to be true and find the power to exist independent of the collective norms. Life and death are involved in this step. This is a letting go of the past and the emergence of the power to lead your life…

Philosophically, however, this oppression is exactly what teaches you about de, power and virtue, the power to find what is Great and rely on it. It exhausts the old and awakens you from its collective dream. This oppression also teaches the futility of anger and hatred and shows how the Way opens…
