Cosmic Update
Greetings Keeper of Time,
Today begins the 13-day Monkey wave, a time of transforming the lived realness of who we are and our purpose, through taking action in an exploring, discovering, and crafting way. Add in some playfulness and meeting trickster as needed. And, maybe give Monkey some bananas (meaning, no entitled whining, but instead appreciating and feeding the challenges that get us to let go and come to know ourselves in new ways). Now’s the time.
Venus moves into Cancer today, after a super long visit to Gemini. Now our loving and valuing becomes more nourishing and nurturing, more familial and homey, and more ancestored. See Venus shining so brightly in the east before dawn.
You can see Moon rising with Mars on Saturday night (around 11pm on the West Coast, give or take depending on where you are). This moony night juices Mars in Aries up for its square to Pluto in Capricorn (exact on Thursday), as growing internal tensions build around power and control, demanding that we learn to take action from deeper places in our beings, that we move from our own creative will in wanting this! Monkey gets real, serious, and actively embodied. This is the transformation.
Midweek, the annual celebratory Perseids Meteor Shower peaks. This is usually best seen after midnight, though late rising Moon will interfere this year. I suggest heading out a little before midnight until moonrise Tues into Wed or Wed into Thurs. While you’re out there, enjoy Jupiter & Saturn close together in the south as Mars rises in the east.
