I taught Wood Carving for the first time at the Fall Herbal Symposium over Labor Day.
The official class was on Monday morning and about 40 people (!) began carving butter knives.
Earlier in the weekend, I taught an impromptu carving class for the youngsters. Three hours (it was longer than the class for adults). See photos below.
Both of these experiences have inspired me to put together a daylong class in Sebastopol.

I am very interested! Especially in whittling down the line if can start with something more simple now!
