Through carving a Swedish-style wooden Butter/Jam Knife (smör kniv), you’ll learn knife grips and cuts (as well as safety and sharpening), how to work with the grain of the wood, and finishing techniques.
We’ll also talk about how these skills can be applied to other woodcarving projects, and the use of a saw and axe.
